As I understand it they shortened the beginning of the audio file meaning the sound should be slightly more responsive for the ak and have a bit less of a delay when shooting
Okay this audio update helps me bring this up NOBODY BELIEVES ME BUT when cs2 came around there was a new gun and old gun audio setting right? Like I remember a clip like this and then going to the settings to get the old ak audio back? Right???? Anyone

Because the sounds of the AK were to op, we have decided to nerf the pig

If you don’t hear the difference in the AK sound you really need a better headset.
Ngl the AK now sounds more satisfying imo

The new sound souds like a new weapon to me
so they are using audio to make the game feel more responsive instead of actually making it more responsive
