Gamers have three new video games to play this week. These new video games are — “Deliver At All Costs”, “Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping”, and “Doom: The Dark Ages”. These new video games can be played on PlayStation 5, Xbox X/S, PC, and Switch.Deliver At All Costs
Winston Green, a high-strung courier in small-town America in the late 1950s, has one motto: “Deliver At All Costs”. If that means wrecking other cars or plowing through buildings, so be it. And as the cargo gets weirder — judging from the screenshots, UFOs may be involved — Winston “spirals downward into the depths of insanity.” The result, from Swedish studio Far Out Games by way of Konami, looks somewhat like the original Grand Theft Auto with a retro “Happy Days” glow. Hit the gas on May 22 on PlayStation 5, Xbox X/S and PC.Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping

Duck Detective: The Secret Salami was once of last year’s cleverest surprises, introducing us to down-on-his-luck gumshoe Eugene McQuacklin in an animal-world parody of film noir. My only complaint was that it was just a few hours long — but the good news is that Germany’s Happy Broccoli Games is already back on the case with “Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping”. This time, McQuacklin investigates a mystery at a luxury campsite. If you enjoy brain-teasers, another chance to test your de-duck-tive skills arrives on May 22 on PlayStation 5, Xbox X/S, Switch and PC.

If you like your games big, noisy and unabashedly gory, id Software’s groundbreaking Doom series is hard to beat. “Doom: The Dark Ages”, the new chapter from publisher Bethesda Softworks, takes the demon-hunting space marine — now known as the Doom Slayer — back in time, sort of. His bosses have hauled the big lug to a quasi-medieval planet that’s riddled with hell portals and under siege by the most bloodthirsty monsters yet. The Slayer has his usual arsenal of spectacular weapons, including a “saw shield” he can fling like a deadly Frisbee, and some levels let him saddle up on a cybernetic dragon. It’s like a heavy metal album cover come to life, and it arrived on May 15 on Xbox X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
