I would actually get dense marrow skeleton impact for more melee damage and instead of heal on kill i would take the one that gives stamina on kill to counteract the extra stamina cost. A biomod is more than sufficient at keeping you alive.

My first play through was also mantis blades and I still go back to them all the time. They’re just so fun. My current play through is mantis blades and Guts when I’m in a tight area where it’s hard to dash around. It is kinda fun to be like eh fuck it and pull out the shotgun to blast people to bits after I just slice and diced half their friends.
