They never change the contents of an existing crate/box, and they never have a problem of releasing a variant of an existing crate/box with tiny change, they’ll do the same for cache.
Nevertheless, open your saved caches next season. They won’t put AK47’s shard in the old caches, but they *might* change the compensation for the old cache, so you’ll get universal shards instead of tokens for extra baton/AMAX/AK117 shards.

Didn’t they say they’ll turn extra shards into universal shards? I’ll just wait and see. No use opening them now either.
I’ll probably stock up on some still to see how the universal shard stuff works.
I have 42 crates in my inventory,i selected “Stock caches” and it still automaticaly opens.Any tips? Thank you.
