Top comment is so real. Kino is seriously just a worse version of Der Riese. The only reason it has the Thundergun on it is because Ascension wasn’t ready to ship at launch, which it was supposed to, and they didn’t want to put the Wunderwaffe on Kino and make the map feel too similar to World at War. Which is funny because Kino was originally made in the T4 (WaW) engine and was just ported over to BO1 and polished.

I’m sorry but numbers speak for themselves. At least on console, kino is the most played map besides shadows. It is extremely rare that a launch map (when maps used to be paid dlc) gets beaten by a dlc map. People like kino.

They should make all zombies maps from all COD games available. Even not remastered or anything, just as they were. I wouldn’t mind paying for a dlc that makes all of those available.
Also add an option to zombies where you can join a random team on a random map across any of the games.

I mean there’s an argument about kino being easy to handle which makes it a good map for beginners and casual couch play with friends but it’s not a top tier map for sure, it’s just simple and good enough to enjoy it’s like the vanilla flavor of ice cream zombie maps

Kino would have been so much better if it released in WaW like it was supposed to, wunderwaffe instead of thunder gun, WaW weapons instead of the slog of trash bo1 weapons, and none of the nova crawlers which genuinely don’t fit the map
