Hell yea.
Ray tracing defintely makes the games look better, but tank performance like crazy for me. I get some of that performance back with DLSS4! And it still looks gud in my pinion.
I’m excited to medival ass style some demons!
**Tell us what you love about DLSS 4 and ray tracing?**
DLSS4 looking sharp. RT it’s the end game.
**What are you most excited about in DOOM: The Dark Ages?**
Killing demons, duh.
DLSS might be the difference that makes you able to run the game at 60fps. RT is nice, Indiana Jones did it well but its still too demanding for most of the cards.
Seeing the new melee kills for sure
Dlss4 and Ray tracing just make the game look and feel better!
I can’t wait to ride the dragon in Doom!
> Tell us what you love about DLSS 4 and ray tracing?
For DLSS 4, I enjoy being able to crank every setting up to the maximum, and still enjoy the smoothness of my Asus ROG 240hz ultrawide OLED monitor. And for Ray Tracing, I enjoy the realistic reflections and lighting that changes based on real-time interaction with the environments.

The skullcrusher is one of the most metal guns in any game, ever.
I picked up a new 5080 from Best Buy on April 30th but somehow never got the bundle code, they won’t help me at all so I emailed info@nvidia.com asking for assistance and never heard back from them. Maybe this giveaway is my best chance to get the game code.
I love the increased frame rates provided by DLSS, I’m excited to shoot demons! Good luck everyone!
RT is cool if done correctly, though the impact can be heavy compared to the visual impact. DLSS 4 is a nice upgrade, but the MFG feels a bit silly.
Slowing down the gameplay from Doom eternal seems like it would be more my speed.
**Tell us what you love about DLSS 4 and ray tracing?**
I really like how illuminations are rendered in current games thanks to Ray Tracing, also DLSS is one of the main reasons I chose a NVIDIA graphics card, since it helps greatly with keeping up constant framerates.
**What are you most excited about in DOOM: The Dark Ages?**
I want to try the new weapons, I really wish we can get a BFG or something really weighty to kill demons with.
its shiny
big boom
1. Get a smoother experience and more immersive experience
2. I’m excited for all the lore and to rip&tear
RT makes games more immersive and we can th DLSS you can enjoy it without selling your kidney.
I’m just excited to crash demons again with the new DOOM.
With ray tracing my games look so nice and beautiful! Having better performance with DLSS4 is the icing on the cake!
What I am most excited about Doom The Dark Ages? Slaying Demons in high tense action of course! I love parry mechanics in videogames, so this is perfect for me.
DLSS4 seems to be pretty top notch tech and i love how smooth it makes the ray tracing experience, which is also very enjoyable and adds to the experience.
I can’t wait to revisit Doom in a newer light, it seems like they’re changing up things in an interesting way. I’d love to play it to be quite honest.
I’m excited to see how they make futuristic weapons old, and I want to see some this brutal finishers!
I have no comment on DLSS or Ray tracing…I’m still on a 1080!
Ray tracing makes games look incredible. It adds a level of realism that is hard to beat. I’m looking forward to being a menacing, unstoppable force of demon killing hatred
Admittedly I have no experience with DLSS 4 and ray tracing, but from what I’ve seen online, it’s just better looking. Thats my super technical jargon answer.
I’m most excited to rip and tear, obviously.
1- I believe such new technologies are the answer to the graphical demands that we are beginning to see in videogames.
2- DOOM might be one of, if not the last FPS franchise I still care about
DLSS – Able to run Ultra Nightmare, 4K and still get well over 120fps on a last gen card.
Dark Ages – Flail. All flail. All the time.
Been playing around with ray tracing in Cyberpunk after keeping it turned off for higher frame rates for the past two years. In photo mode especially, the difference in shadowing is incredible. You can create these moody, atmospheric virtual photos that weren’t possible with older lighting solutions. DLSS 4 is the reason *why* I can do this, squeezing every ounce of performance out of my 3080.
I’m excited for Doom: the Dark Ages because Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal were both great games…but in very different ways. I’m curious to see what new riffs have been put on the formulas of the previous two games and whether it plays more closely to one or the other, or feels like something distinct from both.
**Tell us what you love about DLSS 4 and ray tracing?**
It’s the only way to get good smoothness and high quality from modern titles.
**What are you most excited about in DOOM: The Dark Ages?**
Reaching the absolute peak of left mouse click smashing.
dlss 4 has insane quality, ray traced makes lighting look amazing. never played a doom game since the OG before so excited to jump in and see how much these things have improved since then
**Tell us what you love about DLSS 4 and ray tracing?**
Having a card/system which can handle DLSS 4 and ray tracing it means I can run most games at the highest settings, and can bask in the glory of PC GAMING
**What are you most excited about in DOOM: The Dark Ages?**
Letting the soundtrack rip whilst smashing demons into the nether
> Tell us what you love about DLSS 4 and ray tracing?
shininess and frames
> What are you most excited about in DOOM: The Dark Ages?
everything ripping as the slayer
Being able to run DLSS 4 on the 40 series and 50 series is a great thing. The performance it gives you is fairly decent in 4K. As for doom, as soon as I seen you can throw a sawblade shield like the lord and saviorCaptain America I was all in. Ripping and tearing in 4K gonna be sick.
A) just want the card
B) I want the game too
😎
**Tell us what you love about DLSS 4 and ray tracing?**
DLSS4 allows to improve performance on beautiful games that need the help with hardware. It also IMO is better than other upscaling and TAA options. Ray Tracing is just beautiful. Makes the world feel more real and more immersive.
**What are you most excited about in DOOM: The Dark Ages?**
Enjoying the game so far but only 4 chapters in. Doom is one of those series I always come back to and it always reminds me what I love about gaming and now what I love about story telling.
I like how dlss 4 gives better performance without sacrificing image quality. Also Ray tracing is way better than screen space reflections of olden games!
Excited to shoot all em evils lol. I’m honestly new to doom franchise tho. I heard it from a local priest before believe it or not. And it was painted positively at that!
ray tracing is awesome because it solves global illumination and rtx allows it to actually run in real time
awesome game and soundtrack im hyped
Love the performance boost of dlss 4 and the slightly nicer lighting of ray tracing
Im excited to try out the slower combat pace compared to eternal
1. Make Frames go brrrrrrrrr.
2. Make Demons go brrrrrrrr.
the perfomance gains and visual quality when using ray tracing thanks to dlss 4, i want to ride that dragon and kill demons rocking some awesome tunes!!!
I dont have a rtx gpu so cant really say what i tuink about it wpthout seeing it irl
Eternal was good so this cant be bad, right?
would love a crack at this and whatever ray tracing is all about, I’m planning on building my first PC this year
Doom Eternal was super fun, can’t wait for this!
1. Higher fps, looks beautiful if implemented properly
2. Killing demon
DLSS4 on a 4k monitor is a must have in my case!
DOOM TDA will complete my library for sure, if there is one series of games that I love is DOOM
Good luck everyone, may your frame rates be high and your temps low!
I game in 4k, it would help with performance
More methodical and less verticality
The thing I love most about DLSS is that it is much more reliable than a basic TAA implementation, and it can easily be upgraded over time. Also, at high enough quality, it can be near indistinguishable from native, with a nice performance boost.
Ray-tracing also can look astonishingly good in the right environments, and after watching the Digital Foundry video on TDA, I’m stunned by how good it looks in this game. I am really anticipating the pathtracing update, although I’m not sure how much better it really can get
About the game itself, I’m most excited for the new selection of weapons. When I played Eternal, I felt a bit disappointed that the weapons were so similar to Doom 2016, and from what I’ve seen of The Dark Ages, there’s plenty of new weapons to learn and play with. It’s also cool to see the new shield mechanics and think over how both the new weapons and abilities factor into the combat.
looking nice and clean while boosting performance together
demonic presence detected, time to rip and tear 😉
1) I dunno. I’m too poor to know.
2) I have played every doom since the first one. I’m excited to experience this one too.
1. Too poor to try out 🗣🗣
2. DOOM.
