No, it just replaces the in-game dog tag with a secret cache.
But there are missions associated with this mode, you might get secret cache from those missions (I can’t remember the mission rewards 🤷♂️)

I got the missing mythic shards today from the 15 secret cache boxes on the BO4 mode. Recommended do all the possible shards events to finish asap the grinding.

When I played the tags were normal though, not caches
