*I’ve seen your bluescreen in my dreams*

Guess the kernel wasn’t able to switch the frame buffer to fully blue all the way lol. Possible that was caused by some data in flight from the dedicated graphics to the Integrated graphics when the crash happened.

That laptop needs a dusting 🙁

You must close the jaws of BSOD

It is either a hardware failure or bios issues causing a hardware fault. Windows is trying to generate a crash dump but the hardware failure is hard-crashing the system during the dump – causing this behavior.

I had a rash of similar BSOD on my desktop not long ago. Same thing, still had a ghost of the last image overlayed by the dump info. Turned out to be a stick of bad RAM in my case, might be worth running a memory test on this.

Patrick Stewart’s contract ran short so they had to BSoD to renegotiate

don’t worry it’ll be renewed by the next restart

Take this bootloader to Jauffre at Weynon Microcenter. He’ll know what to do.

This stupid game is the master of crashing

  13. NewSauerKraus

Lmao. I encountered a new crash too. Tried playing Oblivion during the day and nearly cooked my self. My PC got so hot it rebooted. Won’t be able to play for the next six months at least because even opening my window at night during summer just makes it hotter.

This BSOD has been brought to you by Bethesda, and made possible by customers like you.

Must have been the thermal paste.

    Built a brand new pc
Every part is new except for my SSD holding my OS.

Been doing this to me. Even now outside of the oblivion remaster.
    Any clue what’s going on?

Frankly, Patrick Stewart presenting your blue screen would be a nice improvement to Windows 11

I kept having a similar BSOD not too long ago. BSOD with failed memory dump.

At the beginning, I thought it was caused by unstable RAM, but it turned out to be a crypto mining malware running in the background. The malware would pause when I opened Task Manager, and was undetected by a variety of anti-virus/malware software.

Oh man, this is exactly where the original Oblivion would crash on my PC back then too
