Helped my buddy upgrade his prebuilt. I also gave him some fans for the top of his case cause his PC was overheating and choking itself out. I forgot my screws so I didn't install them. He took off the glass panel and sent me this the next day 🤣🤣

I would have skipped the fan and just bought a cheap case with good airflow. And usually the top is for exhaust not intake.

yea he need new case this is junk. suggest
    lancool 217 or 207 digital.

I’m getting angry at seeing his icons on the right side and the trash bin ON TOP?

why are people like this, huh?

  4. Fan is facing the wrong way. You want it blowing the hot air out of the PC not back into it.

    Also dust

I want to but a testbench and just put a box fan on each side. No more thermal throttle hehe

Sooo he’s gonna trap the heat? He knows heat rises right? Your buddy, yeah, he’s what is commonly known as stupid. Make sure he knows I said that. Deliver the message in 7 hours or else muahahahaha!

Blowing air in the top us a no no.

The CPU cooler fans are more efficient pushing air through the heatsink rather than pulling.

Air is lazy and will take the path of lowest resistance so most of the fins aren’t even doing anything set up this way.

That is, of course, unless he just has the whole thing on backwards.

I have a headphone of the same case brand

I’d recommend an LED strip on the fan for more RPM.

Atp, just move the rear exhaust fan to the top and put the standing fan behind you so it cools you and and the PC.

I used to put my gaming g laptop on my room air purifier. Kept the temps somewhat manageable when playing VR

  14. JamesLahey08

Maybe have the heatsink fans on the correct side as well.

  15. FranticBronchitis

I mean, he should have put the fan on the side facing the open case, but that’s definitely a way to fix thermals LOL

He actually has good temps with this temporary solution hah

  17. OutThelcy

I’ve always thought of doing that never got around to it but it’s effective asf

  18. ZannyHip

If anything, the fan should be flipped over to blow the hot air away from the pc. But for a real solution, needs a better case with good airflow and fans that are set up correctly

  19. But it’s got RGB…It’s more important then actual performance.
