The other person in my game was able to get in but it gave me no option to interact even though it was my mission (top left). There was also a mission to take phoenix fire but I didn’t have enough health to take it all the way to the statue.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated as zombies seems fun but I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing

The only person allowed in that room is the one with the lion sword , it’s upgrade quest is in there.
You need to kill a glowing parasite with a sword then hit the door, do this 4 times and you should be able to interact. (Sorry if this is wrong and i’m just giving you wrong information, I haven’t played Black Ops 6 in a few months 😭)
For the fire, when you’re running you’ll see zombies with purple glowing eyes pop out of the ground in your view around you. Every time you punch and kill one, your health goes back to full and allowing you to complete the route.
I recommend looking something up for the raven sword wen u get to it. Each quest is locked by the sword. Only 1 person can have the sword at a time, and the mission displayed is for everyone. So as a group u must complete objective given. Ur friend had the lion sword if he was able to go in (the sword is based off of which statue u grabbed it from. I.e When entering from Jug room to statue room, the statue on far right is lion and close right is dragon. Far left is raven and close left is stag. Just look at the crest on the statue.) U can place the sword back at the statue most times (sometimes a step will lock the sword in another place). Since ur friend is the one with the lion sword, only he can do the steps for the lion sword. He is also the only that can interact with the door after the parisite step is completed.
Tldr.
Objectives are given to everyone at the same time, and only certain people can complete them if they r holding a certain item
You are supposed to Go on directed mode
