So here I am, finally having the time to sit and run through all the steps of Shattered Veil. My plan was to complete one run on Directed Mode as practice (I'm a hands on learner) and another on Standard. I get into a lobby with randoms and they obviously don't know what to do, even though the steps and way points are given.

I talk and walk them through while also showing them specifically where hard to see items were located only when they struggled. Of course, one of them gets the Mark II Ray Gun and doesn't know exactly how to use them for the EE so I talk them through.

I thought it would be a quick run through the steps and then an actual game but it took an hour to get to the final ritual. Right before upgrading to the W version, they quit and the Wonder Weapon was gone. Pissed off doesn't even begin to describe the feeling. Two more guys ended up joining, I filled them in on the situation, and about 80,000 essence and another 40 minutes later, we finally got the gun from the box, beefed up, and finished the game

I know, I know. "Play solo to lessen the chance of the game being ruined" but I like having a squad. It's nostalgic for me. BUT help me understand why anybody would ever go through all the trouble just to quit and spoil the game! If you were those people last night, I hope you're reading this because you've got some hands to catch.

i honestly feel you. public matches are a pain when they don’t know what to do. i always resort to LFGs to lessen the headache, which is very recommended for you.

For me the only reason is no mics. I will lobby search till I find someone with a mic. Only reason I play a public lobby is to find new people to play with.

My wife beats me if I’m on too long, Sorry.

I only really leave lobbies if I have to do something like go for a walk with the dog.

I quit when people are just complete dogshit, sometimes I don’t but at some point I just give up

Had a pair of guys who kept downing every fucking 30 seconds, no exaggeration. I’m being dead serious, my revive count way exceeded the time played.

There was another guy who was really good, but he gave up on reviving them. These guys were so bad though, one even had the Raygun MKII from a lucky first box and he still sucked ass.

So I usually quit when I see people who aren’t at least prestige one, or don’t buy doors.

    Some reasons I leave

-I gotta go piss and if I get downed like 5 times in a row it’s a burden to the team

-the game has gone on for multiple hours

-I get a racist on my team who just shouts slurs the whole time

    -I sleepy

I can’t stand sitting in the Black Ops 3 lobbies waiting to try to fill a zombies game and then as soon as it fills they just sit there and never ready up to the point where I finally have to back out and find another one

Oh my gosh I better stay or I might send some kid into a rage.

I’ve actually never been to directed mode but it’s funny that you see it as a commitment to the fun if they stay lol

Because I voted to exfil 15 times, and you seem to be allergic to not being downed.

I say its because all good players on snacks mode everyone loven the dmg boost i say u try there , and i recommend on each time u going a game just ask ( EE ? ) if more than 1 says no just try in another lobby, best of luckk
