Right before starting off the Guilty Gear Strive finals today at Evo Japan 2025, Guilty Gear Strive producer Ken Miyauchi took to the stage to share some brand new information with fans.
Although we’ve already seen what Unika looks like, we got a brief look at her in-game and were also told when her release date will be.
The teaser trailer is very brief, which Miyauchi explained is because the full trailer contains spoilers for the currently ongoing anime series Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers and to avoid spoiling any surprises for fans they will be holding off on showing the full trailer for the moment.
Unika will be out on May 27th and Miyauchi assured fans that her gameplay trailer and character breakdown would be released before that day.
Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers appears to be set to air its final episode on May 24th, so it’s likely that we’ll see a lot more content for Unika on the days between May 24th and May 27th.
Unika is the third character releasing in Guilty Gear Strive’s fourth season and will be followed later on by guest character Lucy Kushinada from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
