DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) -The name of the local athletic competition may have changed, but the goal is still the same–and that’s to win gold in offering events for all from May 17-31.

The Quad Cities Summer Games (formerly known as and sponsored by the QC Senior Olympics) is meant to promote health, fitness, and quality of life for individuals 40 and older by encouraging an active lifestyle. Note: some events are open to a larger age range to increase participation.

Registration to participate is open at $40 for unlimited events plus a tee shirt, 3 medals, and access to a picnic.
