Uhm, but I am running windows.

    be quiet! Silent Base 802

    Absolutely love it

  3. Kuragune

Never liked tenpered glass, the closest i had was one with a transparent plastic, my dream is having an old white case like in 90s but with modern components lol

Rn im using a small factor case (due space issues) with a perforated panel (cooler master NR200P)

  4. Tino_Kort

I was looking for a PC case in my last build and ended up with a window only because it was (for some reason) cheaper than a simple square black box. Anywho yeah definitely love it. Next pc will be a square box just like Babbage intended.

    I’m a fan of Acrylic.

A good quality acrylic side panel looks good enough to pass for glass.

It won’t get scratched if you don’t handle it willy nilly.

  6. Zergazoid

Solid panel Fractal Torrent. I built a work horse, not a show pony. Won’t be posting on r/battlestations

  7. mizrael64

i love a good silent block of steel build

  8. DoubleRNL

Don’t have glass, not sure why I need a light show in my room

  9. ASx2608

I have a mesh panel on both sides and it shows a good amount of my RGB while not being a flashlight in the night.

  10. multiwirth_

Yeah my pc also is just a black box.

  11. estelblade88

My next rig will most likely be solid panel.

  12. Lishio420

I mean glass panel can look cool with RBG, but its a distraction if placed on a table next to monitor (at least for me) or kind of pointless when put on the ground.

Also solid panels cant break, like tempered glass, so thats a + too.

So yeah solid panel it is.

  13. Financial_Warning534

Yes, solid or mesh for me. Tempered glass panels are played out.

  14. maevian

I am a fan of mesh, loving my Lian-Li A3 wood.
Coming from a solid panel Fractal Design Define r4.

  15. The1Caezar

Still rocking my Corsair Carbide 330R, almost 11 years old.

  16. Lazlow_Hun

I hate both glass panel cases and RGB lighting with a fiery passion.

I use a BitFenix Shadow as my case.

  17. miSaelVinni

I would love to have one, if they weren’t twice the price of tempered glass ones in my country lol

  18. Wood_Berry_

Crap, didn’t think anyone would read this post. I have pissed on the graves of my ancestors with this low-effort Photoshop job. My great-great-grandad, Jedediah Fotoshop, didn’t graphic design in the Civil War to support such heinous future crimes against good taste.

    🤷‍♂️

I have an EATX solid panel build, it is theft proof, nobody gonna run away with that. edit: I also am forced to fix it myself cause I ain’t carrying it to the store.

  21. TendiesFourLyfe

I bought a fractal meshify 2 solid panel and was super pumped about it, but found the 420mm radiator I planned for the top interfered with MB, so had to upgrade to meshify XL, which is not available in solid panel, so huge dark tint glass it is. But its for the better, lets me see the wireviewpro readouts, advantageous for melty 12vhpwr cables.

  22. Lowfat_cheese

Every now and again I’m tempted by solid panel chassis, but I like glancing at my Pro-Art GPU and thinking “sick”

  23. I’ve got a asus prime ap201 with the mesh side panel

  24. mrdeathlad

I have mesh on my side panel… can I still be part of the gang?

  25. AshesTheCrow

I have the meshify 2 without glass, on the floor on the top of a panel with wheels to easily wash the floor, I love the look of the front panel and I can’t see the left side anyway ! 0 rgb 0 water cooling (noctua nh d15 chroma black). 5700x3d 6800xt, en the job is done well, I will change in 2027 I guess with new gen. And I’ll still have 0rgb and no glass, and if possible, no water cooling too

  26. kaypeeler56

I plan on building a solid panel sometime soon for my grandpas house i just don’t like the flashy rgb like my brothers do n like i used to i like the simple design now

  27. MetaBass

I want a solid panel for my Meshify 2 case, I fucking hate tempered glass.

  28. absolutelynotarepost

I’ve got a tempered glass panel and a terrazzo floor. I’m just waiting for the day I make a mistake.

Fortunately Corsair sells a solid side panel for my case for like $16 and I will just buy one of those when the time comes lol

  29. astromech_dj

That’s my bag. Simple black case. Mine has a removable magnetic filter on top and sound dampening on side panels.

  30. Rythagar

Corsair lets you buy extra solid panels for the 4000D which are usable on either side and can replace the glass. The 5000D isn’t completely solid it has the filter mesh for possible fan placements but same idea.

  31. VoidJuiceConcentrate

I currently have a solid panel build.

Sucks because there’s hardware inside with built in lighting that didn’t have a non lighted option.

  32. YoureGettingTheBelt

Been running my Cooler Master HAF XM since 2015, never once owned a machine with a window.

I don’t really use side panels at all though, haha. Its been in my closet for the last 8 years.

  33. Surfneemi

The true problem isn’t the glass panel, it’s the RGB yes, but also the mate panel.
I have absolutely 0 RGB leds (exept the boot leds, that go red when the cpu is overheating xD) so I can’t see behind the glass, and I like how it creates a deep black that looks much nicer then a mate panel lmao
