This is the way, I got RDR 2 for ten bucks on sale
Beneficial_Guest_810
Here’s the fun part.
I don’t care if it ever goes on sale.
The industry thinks they’re selling something we NEED.
It’s a video game, it really doesn’t matter.

I’ve done this, & sometimes you wait long enough to find out the game was shi!t all along. So you saved yourself the money & grief w/out even realizing it at first

GTA VI in 10 years, here I come!
Thick_Carry7206
added bonus: what required a 4k$ ubermachine to run like shit on release, gets rendered at steady 120fps by any shit office box if you just wait long enough.
I usually wait at least a year. It was hilarious to see Diablo 4 on sale within a few months for $40 from $70.
It’s even funnier that they lowered the actual cost of the game to $50

I’m sitting here with 31 Steam games under my belt. I know people with literal thousands of games in their library. The next game I’m thinking about buying is Cyberpunk 2077.

I haven’t bought a game within 6 months after release day the last 5 years. Got enough games to play in my library and will just wait for the games in my wishlist to get below 20€ or for some even below 10€.

I also wait but recently had a thought that maybe I should use vpn and make an account localised in another country(Ukraine). Their baisic price of Civ 7 and Cities skylines 2 is half of polish price. It would be like buying on 50% sale

That’s one of the reasons I don’t play online games. No fear of missing out.

$15 way too high, gotta wait for that shit to be sub 10
Watamelonna
Most games that are 70$ usually are poorly optimised or have drm so aggressive my poor boi can’t run it properly
But I am blessed with a giant backlog so I just treat those years as waiting for the product to actually get fixed and published at a reasonable price, if I get a sale, Lucky!
