Both guns using same gunfighter attachments with comp/Recoil Springs.
First picture is uncontrolled zoomed recoil pattern of AMAX on the left, KRIG C on the right. AMAX is MUCH tighter and does have such a significant horizontal recoil drop to the right.
KRIG has less BV, Slower mobility all round. On the same 45 mag Way more vertical recoil and horizontal recoil as demonstrated in the first picture. KRIG shoots 8 rounds a minute quicker.
AMAX does 1 more damage to the head, shares the same HS multiplier and does 3 more damage per shot to neck and chest.
KRIG is good but AMAX still superior.

If any streamers you watch has said the krig c is better than the amax you need to watch better content creators
Check truegamedata.com and also try it for yourself in game, stat wise they’re almost identical and in game they feel almost identical. The amax has tighter spread vertically but moves more horizontally, you could argue the consistency of the krig’s recoil makes it easier to control. Most people run the 60 mag on the amax and will probably run the 70 mag on the krig too. It just seems like the devs want to give us another option and I can’t be mad at that. Those streamers did not lie to you I fear
If it didn’t come from JGOD or TrueGameData don’t believe it. I think many lower popularity streamers will put out false information to try to mess with the playerbase. My cousin that I regularly play with is constantly sending me videos of new metas by some streamer I’ve never heard of, or some secret buff that just came out, when there hasn’t been any updates/patches.
Like the recent event that had the chance to get that skin out of those safes. He said he watched a video of some streamer that said there was a trick to get the skin that involved dropping your guns and then punching the center of the lock on the safe. I told him that just sounds like a trick to get players to be defenseless at the safes to get an easy kill. When the trick didn’t work after multiple tries I said yea whatever streamer was just lying to try to get easy kills from people that might load in with him. Not to mention I couldn’t look up any tricks to get the skin, and I feel like if it was actually a thing JGOD probably would have mentioned it.

The extra damage is almost irrelevant. Number of shots to kill is what truly matters. In which, both guns require the same. 8 body/chest shots. In the max damage range.
Both can be dropped to a 7-shot with 2-5 head shots
Both can be dropped to a 6-shot with all 6 head shots.
The only Amax niche – is that if you miraculously land 5 head shots & 1 chest shots with the Amax can you get a 6-shot kill.
Outside of that, they’ve got very similar ranges, BV, ROF, movement speed, ADS speed, mag sizes.
The most significant difference (and one that really impacts game play) is the recoil. The Krig just beams easier.
If vertical recoil is the only decider then I’d say they’re equal rn, vertical recoil is the easiest thing to control in CoD so you’d barely feel a difference with pulling down
Krig is better imo. Used them both extensively tonight. On the gun fighter build you can use mono on the KRIG but you’ll need compensator on the AMAX.

I have both equipped to two of my favorite loadouts, and the amax is much better. The ppsh is falling off hard to, which sucks because the fire rate is so high. Anyway, classic meta. Throwing new gun in the battle pass to incentivize people playing as quickly as possible to get the op gun, then Nerf it as soon as the battle pass/season is over

I love that the vertical recoil control is less than 1 degree different, but there’s THAT much actual difference in verticality of the recoil between the two.
WZstats.gg puts the Grau as the best AR. How is it? How does it compare to Amax currently?
