Today I set whats left of my old build outside by the curb. Corsair graphite case with ryzen 2600 and 64gb of ddr3 thermaltake rung aio (built in 2018ish)
Usually I give away old parts on ebay for the price of shipping but this thing has been sitting for 8 months stressing me out 🙁

(I live in the city, anything remotely interesting will be picked up by a passerby in a few hours)

Think the problem is that you never made a post on Reddit telling us where we can go pick it up
But why sit it in the grass outside? If you just want to get rid of it, you could have posted it on any number of places for like $5 and someone would have met you at a neutral public site to pick it up.
In today’s pc hardware market I find it hard to believe no one would have taken that off your hands for the price of shipping…

I have this exact same case, and I got it 10 years ago for exactly the reason I am doing with it right now. The think has drive space for days.
So now my old system is becoming my NAS storage and Plex server. I would have kept your old system if you have somewhere to hid it in your house, for that exact reason.
Woulda grabbed it just for the ram, still sitting at 16gb. oh well. hopefully someone can use it

I don’t get why people don’t just donate to a library instead of curbing perfectly usable computers and laptops.
FYI for getting rid of looks parts on Craig’s list or similar. For some bizarre reason things often shift quicker if you set a small price. A lot of people are suspicious of free stuff I guess.

Currently on my second build in this case, its big enough for modern GPUs so good enough for me lmao.
