It’s somehow already been two weeks since Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves launched in early access, and the fighting game community has been going in hard with the new game.
Longtime pro player Paragon|Kizzie Kay recently released his first tier list for Fatal Fury with some interesting placements worth checking out.
Although there’s generally been two top contenders for the best character in the game in other tier lists we’ve seen from the likes of Rooflemonger and HDG|Pochoclo23, Kizzie believes there’s just one that stands above the rest of the cast.
That sole S+ ranking goes to Hotaru, which isn’t too surprising given how strong she’s looking at the outset of this game’s competitive life.
She seems to have it all between her excellent combo conversions, strong neutral tools, feint mixups and fast walk speed that always keep opponents on their toes.
The other usual suspect in Kain isn’t too far behind in S tier, but he’s not alone there either with the likes of Rock, Hokutomaru, Terry and even Marco up there as well.
Many players are also putting a lot of stock into Billy, but he’s a bit lower on the list here alongside Preecha, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gato and more.
Even at the lower end of the tier list, A is the second-lowest category, so it seems like Kizzie believes almost everyone in City of the Wolves is quite good in their own rights.
The only suspect pick among them may be Tizoc considering the grappler was placed in the bottom by himself, which is a pretty common sentiment we’ve been seeing for the big guy, but he’s still a B in the competitor’s eyes.
