Yeah idk about that one boss..
Idk why people are joking around about it not being able to run it when we already know the Switch 2 is decently powerful and developers can probably bring most of their games to it if they choose to optimise it.
Steam Deck runs Rebirth decently, so it makes sense that the Switch 2 could as well. No big surprise.

Every game that came out this gen will ne out on the switch 2. Nintendo will benefit without having to compete.
Cheaper to just have good internet and a PS Portal. As far as Rebirth goes, owning a PS5 Pro lets you play it in enhanced mode on the Portal.

This was more of a soft confirm and not really different from what hamaguchi said in the trailer in the nintendo direct.
It’s going to be very interesting to see how switch 2 can handle rebirth.

Why not Xbox too? Since its already moving to a different console might as well give it to all of em.
If Switch 2 can run all three parts without sounding like a jet engine or melting in your hands, that’s a W for portable gaming. But Square better not pull a cloud streaming stunt again or we riot.

ok, the whole FF7 remake set up confuses me. i’ve been hesitant to finally play it because i dont want to miss out on a title given my confusion.
so what titles make up the core trilogy?

Take the assets from this, remake the original game uncensored (restore blood and “problematic” scenes) and make it fully turn based. Then we’ll talk.
Never gonna happen cause greed and suffocating corporate climate but one can dream.
I would hope with DLSS they can at least get the games running okay at 40fps. You really don’t need the highest resolution on a small portable screen for it to still look good, especially a screen with VRR and HDR.
This definitely means it’s staying on ue4 and not making the last part in ue5.
