so i rented a gtx 1650 laptop (msi gf63) and it was capped at 60hz and i dont know why. so i tried overclocking it to 70 using cru. it was alright. then 80, then 90, and then i change the ref rate to 100 and go to sleep.
i just woke up, and it black screened. been on for the past half hour, any solutions?

100 from 60 is really high..
try connecting it to an external monitor it might help. Also close the lid right after powering it on so the main display is the external display
Boot it into safe mode it should go to default refresh rate. From there you can remove the overclock.
Reboot to safe mode delete your cru OC
most 60hz panels cant do more than 70 or 75, you might have to force shutdown your laptop enough times to enter safe mode. Then you should uninstall your graphics driver from there and reinstall it after a reboot. 100hz is unobtainable from a stock 60hz panel. Also, why do this on a rental you ass.
