After BF 2042, my expectations couldn’t be lower. I’m still prepared to see people justifying their pre orders somehow.

They went back to the normal 4 classes. There is at least hope.

After seeing the leaks which was about 30mins of almost exclusively women constantly screaming & issuing orders anywhere the player went, i don’t see myself getting into it.
Just remake all the Battlefield 2 maps to original scale with BF1 movement and you’re good to go

Been way too long since I’ve played Battlefield, really hoping for hit. And no battle pass.
I remember EA coming out and saying they had 5 teams working on 2042 and everything was on track. Needless to say everything wasn’t on track. My expectations will remain tempered.

Why do all games look like this today?
Like yeah, the graphics *are* good. But it looks fucking horrible, seriously. BF4, 4, 1, all look better because they actually have *style*. Remove the huge “BATTLEFIELD” (TM) and you have *literally* every singel modern FPS game’s look. Stop being so fucking lazy with your style, it’s so boring.
It’s like seeing a hyperrealistisk piece of art or on Instagram, Reddit, etc., it’s *technically* good, but it’s *so* boring.
Leaked footage looks phenomenal. Not pre-ordering this time, but if what I’ve seen is what I’ll get I’ll most likely buy day 1
I loved battlefield one and V, but 2042 only needed like 5 minutes of beta time to realize it was awful and never went further with it.
Just do a good modern war game. No skins. No colour on weapons. No bullshit. Bring back the true spirit of battlefield

Not gonna lie, I want to believe. But EA’s trust meter is so deep in the negatives they’d have to release BF4.5, cook it for 2 years, hand-deliver it with a handwritten apology, and still I’d squint at it suspiciously.
It’s this really shitty spot we find ourselves in.
We all WANT a good Battlefield game. But none of us trust DICE enough to make one. Not after 2042.
A think AT BEST, the next BF game will just be basically BF4 but with lots of microtransactions.

Battlefield 4’s launch year. Battlefield hardline. Battlefield V’s launch year. Battlefield 2042.
So please. PLEASE! For the love of god. Actually finish this one before you release it! Just give us a return to form for this series, and release a game that works at launch, so I can dump hundreds of hours into it once again and no longer have to rely on call of duty for my FPS fix.
I both REALLY want this game. And also dread this game. Because DICE just can’t seem to actually release them in a working state to save their lives 🙁
