MosesGG: S1mple is not doing himself any favors by standing in for teams with massive issues and a recent history of underperformance

Honestly found this a weird take, what else is simple supposed to do if not take these offers. The alternative is literally just continuing to be benched

  2. Psychaz

to be fair, FaZe has issues but they are still a lower end top 10 team. The Falcons stint was a shitshow but they were way worse as a team

  3. Siemperx

I mean what stable team would pick up s1mple at this point? If he wants to try to have a go at the game right now those are the only teams that will take him. It’s either that or join a tier 2 team.

  4. Ferni0817

    Faze needs an agressive AWPer.

s1mple worth the risk, it’s cannot be worse.

  5. re_irze

I mean, it’s a win-win situation for s1mple surely. If he comes in and pops off it’s “he’s so back, he fixed FaZe” and if he doesn’t it’ll just be “yeah, well FaZe were a mess anyway”.

  6. itsjonny99

This is actually a good shot for him? Like if he is a 1.1 rated awper which should be his bare minimum Faze will look significantly better, especially if He+Elige opens up rounds.

  7. KarlKraftwagen

if i was s1mple i would simply just join the best team in the world

  8. GigaCringeMods

Bald fraud with a common bad take.

What else do you think he can do? Just rot away on a bench for eternity? The scene moves on fast and the longer he stays inactive the harder it will be to ever get back in. This is a great opportunity for him. It doesn’t matter if the team underperforms, what matters is that s1mple shows that he can still play.

  9. zeitbruch

Simple is still stuck in NaVi because of the contract and high buyout. Its his only option to fill slots.

  10. Jarkrik

Well, the suggestion of this take is not feasible, so its just complaining and crying about the status quo of both entities or what is he doing?

s1mple can’t pick and choose currently, so can’t FaZe.

I wanna see both succeed. Thank you mosesgg.

  11. Penguindrummer_2

What? How much better of an offer is he gonna get? Only teams without woes in very recent times are Vitality, Spirit, MouZ and if you wanna be super charitable and ignore the last couple months NaVi and those are all above the paygrade of anyone who hasn’t competed in years.

This is a damn good gig for him according the every metric that isn’t legacy but you couldn’t fault him for competing instead of resting on his laurels. Even as far as legacy is concerned I’d argue he’s better served by staying involved as a player than hanging it up as unceremoniously and scandalously as he did.

  12. No_Beach_6885

This can be a great move or a nuke strike for faze

  13. LopoGames

I mean, what else should he do? Well performing teams won’t take him because why change something that works and he’s too expensive to buy out considering he could just decide to quit at any time again. If s1mple isn’t sure if he wants to play full time again and he’s too expensive to buy out right, then putting him in a broken teams on a loan and seeing how he feels and how the team plays is the best direction to go here. If anything, he is motivated by challenge so telling him “carry these noobs” will work well for him.

  14. craygroupious

Maybe it NaVi stopped being pricks to him he wouldn’t join on loans. But his name isn’t kvem so it doesn’t apply to him.

  15. 12thAli

S1imple has many problems right now.

Aside His performance and his ceiling is unclear, he has behavior problems, kinda being toxic as everyone of us know.. Also he got everything this game can offer to someone so he is kind of full too. And His ego is soo big he will probably see himself bigger then the most of the entire org or their players.

So even for t2 org, it is very risky to but simple while he has this kind of mindset because there is no way success comes when a player thinks he is so good, he can scold everyone etc.

Unless simple didnt correct this kind of behaivor, there is no way for him to be successfull ever again after all these time.

  16. ScottSummersEyes

yeah totally he should just join vitality what a fool!

  17. So disappointed in Moses honestly. Just on the last talking counter podcast he said that he loved watching car-crashes. Not we get handed this absolute mass casualty of a roster move and he is concerned for people‘s legacy? Come on O‘Foole.

I‘ll be grinning and clapping along has s0mple limps to a 0.7 rating 15th place finish so we can finally and sadly put this FaZe iteration and the delusions that the once-goat might come back to rest.

  18. At this point which teams don’t have issues and recent history of underperformances

  19. UtkuOfficial

What does this even mean? Teams without issues aren’t looking to sign him. If he wants to play t1 CS this is the only option.

  20. rogue_phantom22

What else can s1mple realistically do? Bro costs multiple tier 2 players salaries combined probably and has huge buyout on his head. He will effectively be choked out from the scene if he doesn’t take up such offers when it comes his way. Especially when the goat IGL himself calls upon him I can’t imagine any player saying no in such a situation

  21. TBeau48

What else can he do? He literally can’t get out of NaVi

  22. Persianmemefinder

Ok but what are his alternatives? Staying on the bench of Navi or going to a 2nd tier team? This is the best case scenario for him at this point

  23. ToryBlair

Who remembers when S1mple used to stand in for T2 CIS teams back in the days of CSGOlonge

    He’d basically 1v5

  24. futurehousehusband69

I’m a division 1 s1mple hater but it’s weird to criticize this so much, Faze were not about to do anything anyways. Getting some reps in and maybe making waves is surely better than playing Valorant and being ugly on Navis bench like he usually does, no?

  25. What other choice does he have, people aren’t exactly queuing up at the door to get him

  26. Woullie_26

This might be the only thing that can make him find his passion for the game

    Seeing Zywoo win consistently

Ego was this mans downfall but it can be his way back

  27. Reasonable_Post3682

s1mple thrives in carrying frauds, my goat will do well

  28. Spinatrix

Even with his absence from the scene I would argue he’s relatively close to broky.

    What you guys think?

FaZe definitely won’t go backwards with him, so it’s worth a shot

  29. A4K0SAN

faze are not even half of the mess of that falcons roster in Shanghai Edit: Edit i also hope faze can figure out what’s next after Austin and fix their issues

  30. zack9zack9

Simple can F off the cs scene – I still dont get praise he gets, dude has shown his true colors long time ago by scammin kids

  31. sw1ftyy

What else is he going to do though, you don’t normally get chances to join teams that are doing really well before you got there

  32. Alchion

    bad take

only way he gets on a top team is if they have problems

  33. histo_Ry

He’s the one to turn this around, faith!

  34. Why would any healthy team atm take S1mple in ? Of course he’s gonna join an underperforming one.

  35. RandomRedditUser31

true he should only stand in for spirit

  36. lawboy01

The only analyst using IQ instead of glazing

  37. grundlesmith

Agree, I dont see this going well. Why didnt they make this move months ago?

  38. ONE_CON

they’re a tier one team, the fact he is getting this chance is a blessing

  39. Former_Print7043

Seems to me there is less pressure on him. Team was playing poorly and if the experiment fails , it cannot all be placed on him.

  40. MusicianSubstantial4

Falcons KennyS vibes, will have a few good rounds here ans there, hopefully he’ll make me eat my words

  41. Select-Apartment-613

Why would anybody without “a recent history of underperformance” pick him up?

  42. Conduit3

Cool i guess he should just sit down grab his ballsack and do nothing instead that’s much better for his legacy, not playing on ANY team.

  43. workmaniac

I get what he’s saying but at the same time like… those are the teams that are willing to take the risk on him. He’s not getting a spot on a top 5 team out of the blue. Faze seems like a better team for re-entry than he could realistically have expected. He’s played with Elige before, and the expectations will be low-ish.

  44. I personally think FaZe is doing this for the entertaiment and vague hopes that he’s gonna solve the problem. The team’s problem was revolving just around the awper, and someone with S1mple’s history wouldn’t be the best fit. The expectations beforehand aren’t so high since they’re replacing someone laid back with a active voice. I don’t expect the Elige + S1mple to work on long terms but i guess it is worth a shot! I don’t see sasha getting better opportunities if he blows this one, it’s gonna be the last nail in the coffin!
