These days, Nishiyama acts as the president of Dimps. Notably, Dimps was involved in the development for games like Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter X Tekken, and Street Fighter 5.

It was recently announced that Dimps is teaming up with The Ring to develop a new boxing game. This game will feature original characters and is not connected to any other source material.

Within this announcement, The Ring specifically highlighted Nishiyama’s history as the creator of the Street Fighter and Fatal Fury franchises. This seems to suggest that this boxing game will be especially interesting to fighting game fans.
