Back then there’s was a lot of this kind of easter egg, but I rarely find them lmao. Only them when I saw a video about it on yt

That dog is a better dev than most…
Norpsely
Live a good easter egg
Dicklepies
Love it. These developers are passionate awesome people. They deserve the success over the soulless corporate slop coming out recently.
echoess84
yeah, the end credist of Doom Eternal does the same and I really appreciate that

What game?

Yeah so interesting…

Off topic – if I’m not a fan of turn-based games, is Expedition 33 still worth playing?

I agree, I also love a good Easter egg. Unfortunately though, I think most companies are so focused on making money from multiplayer that they no longer care about creating great experiences for campaigns.
However, some indie companies (e.g. Blind Squirrel, Bandai Namco etc.) create amazing games with Easter eggs, like Bioshock and Little Nightmares. I personally avoid AAA games now and have found smaller games to be much more fun.

It used to be the case in many games.
The problems is that dev teams sometimes grew too big to fit everyone and it’s a hassle to request permission from everyone
Ill_Machine_8940
There’s one in the Witcher 3 as well, in Blood and Wine, out of bounds.

I remember when I accessed this strange room in Cyberpunk, and suddenly the big television screen in the room played every developer’s picture. It was really cool. Â
sweatgod2020
Stalker does it I think
DrIvoPingasnik
On the first level of Serious Sam you could meet the dev team who would greet and introduce themselves.Â
I thought it was very cool.
Marziinast
A lot of games do
protogothcurrentmoth
They have? They do?
The game is great, but there is no need to deify it.
brainlove
This a cool way to get the dev team in there 🙂
SomeoneNotFamous
This is the most basic easter egg you’ll find in many games, do people even play games anymore ?
MoistSubject9541
Which game is this?
BlueyedIrush
Did I miss where you posted the name of this game?
DiceImpact
A couple of games come to mind which does this or something similar (somebody already mentioned the Witcher) but overall i agree it’s a pretty cool thing!
pengultimate
Now that I think about it, I don’t really see any Easter eggs anymore in modern AAA titles
ElderlyGoose
Love how The Procession to Calvary had some rooms with the kickstarter backers paintings.
Dopa-Down_Syndrome
There’s also a room dedicated to one of the devs dogs if you go up the left side stairs and jump through the first picture on the left wall. I love randomly finding stuff like this.
nethobo
IIRC there was an ending like this in Chrono Trigger. If you beat Lavos during the Lene Fair with just Crono and Luca/Marle (forget which you did it with). Gave you a room with NPCs named after the devs to talk to.

Lovely little homage of an easter egg
