I get that this is an impressive technical achievement. But I don’t understand the point of porting old games from one outdated proprietary platform to another, when pretty much everyone who actually sits down to play it will be doing so in an emulator.
Again, it’s very cool. But in a “we made a portrait of Elvis out of license plates” kind of way.

The Dreamcast was sadly curtailed before it’s time, and we’ll probably never know just what the machine could have handled (like the developer videos of Shenmue on the Saturn). It’s good to see people putting games on that would have challenged the system.

It’s worth noting this us based on the re3 and revc projects that taketwo sued the creators of and tried (and failed) to cleanse the Internet of.
