Even though it was almost entirely online I kinda miss 2020. The Entente of NaVi-Astralis-Vitality taking turns lifting trophies, with the occasional BIG and Heroic playing dark horses. Teams like Karrigan’s MOUZ and Aleksi’s OG that could always upset the big dogs. Rising tier 2 demons like VP and Gambit. Localized play so international matchups (NA/SA vs EU) were more interesting. Quirky teams like the C9 Colossus, FURIA with HEN1, 100T, Juggernaut CoL and Gen.G which spiced things up. Lest not forget the 6 player era with fucking JUGI in Astralis.
Obviously online sucked but I feel that if 2020 was on LAN it’d be the best year of CSGO.
