I don't get why they would add content into the game and then remove it. Like what?? What if i like that mode a lot and i want to keep playing? You can't even name a good reason why removing game modes is a good idea. They need to just stop at this this point and put the time into the next map or something permanent because spending time and money on something that's gonna be removed shortly after being added is just pointless

This is peak. Sure, it’s not for ordinary players. But I played tomb yesterday and beat the main EE first try and got the wonder bar gobblegum. You run around eating snacks for health and relying on stimshots
You must be pretty new to the concept of limited time modes in video games. Plenty of games do this, why they don’t make the modes permanent? That’s a very good question
Are you new to gaming? Limited time events and rewards have been a thing for years in a ton of games, not just cod it’s to get you to play as much as possible during the limited time by generating fomo it’s been a normal marketing strategy for a long time and will continue to be because it’s profitable
“Seasonal content”
Having limited time modes pushes people to check them out and play before its gone. If they kept it it wouldn’t remain a popular mode and would feel like wasted space.
Like you can go back to Cold War and it has quite a few options to choose from within Zombies. Hardly anyone touches the Onslaught modes even though they grant free blueprints for lasting so long and its a mode that puts zombies on the MP maps. But it’s not popular, people checked it out but didn’t stick to it

Forces players to interact with the game on a seasonal basis to increase playtime. Keeps the player base condensed into less modes to reduce matchmaking time. If you go back to CW some of the modes are unplayable because you can’t play them in private match and can’t find any players in public. The game designers know this game thrives on its social sandbox so matchmaking is very important. If they keep too many modes in the game it will inadvertently raise queue times.
they should really add private matches or true solo play where u can play past game modes like this
