Got to round 76 before boredom took over and i just couldnt take it anymore. I swear it took like 12 hours to get to 76.

I would train the zombies in the phd flopper area and shoot them with my thunder gun and gersh when all 24 spawned in. When ammo was low i used the traps and i did everything as fast as possible.

I really dont understand how people get to round 100 in like 6-8 hours on this map. Kind of regret quitting now but i just couldnt take it no more. Training and killing 20+ hordes and the round wouldnt even be over. One round took like 15 mins past 60 and i was at 76.

Thats atleast 6 hours until round 100 but that doesnt calculate having to spin the box to get the thundergun for more ammo and all the other stuff.

Best thing modern zombies did was add save and quit

Why are you touching the zombies? 🤨

igot to 97 like in 8 hours when the thunder gun runs out of ammo iwill just put it back in the box and get again

its way faster than killing them with traps

You’re playing a slow and safe strat. Of course it’s going to take awhile. You should look into the high round strats for ascension as it’s become pretty optimized to beat the map reset.

I personally just like to play to round 50 before I’m satisfied, Ascension is actually one of my favourite maps for doing that due to how fast the Zombies spawn in the spawn room.

High rounding is simply for flexing and bragging rights. If you have nothing to prove or brag about to others OR yourself, you don’t need to go to rnd 100 solo. It gets boring af without incentive.

Us OGs crawled so the players today could run

My brother did the exact same thing with two players on 86

That’s what I like about modern zombies. There’s more ways to last longer, you actually get rewarded for it, and it all doesn’t need to be done in a single session.

  10. I got bored of high rounding, especially on a set trap route back on Der Riese with the one strat my dad would have us do, camping/resorting to teleport cycling and electric traps.

It was so boring, I felt nothing about breaking round 33 or whatever. It felt like a waste of time. I was 10…( suddenly some things in my life rn make a bit more sense)

Cue me growing up not ever getting the appeal of anything “endless” in the era of flappy bird and subway surfers, or just most things regarding leaderboards. (And completely ignore that time I raced to the Xbox top 100/higher for Turned on Diner because i just enjoyed the mode so much.)
