It’s certainly not every day we get to see a big new fighting game release these days, especially those that have crazy hidden bosses waiting to kick your butt.
Maximilian Dood is celebrating such an occasion now with the release of a new Boss Rage video for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
Although Fallen Rock is typically his final boss of Arcade Mode, Terry Bogard can fight the one and only Nightmare Geese as a bonus challenge at the end.
To achieve this, you must clear Terry’s Arcade ladder at level 5 difficulty without losing a single game — and that includes against Fallen Rock as well.
Max quickly finds out that even getting to Geese is no easy feat with the high-difficulty AI proving to be a formidable challenge in itself.
After losing against the CPU opponents several times, the streamer / content creator does start to find his groove as well as a little cheese to make the experience a bit easier.
If the AI Just Defends a wakeup meaty attack, Terry can feint into throw with a high level of consistency, and the CPU really likes to use JD.
Max finally gets to challenge Geese to see if the SNK boss syndrome still lives on, and needless to say his first attempt does not end in victory.
And in true arcade fashion, you only get one attempt to beat Nightmare Geese before needing to attempt the full run again.
How can Max overcome this nightmare and wake up in a brighter world? You’ll have to check out his new Boss Rage video to see how it all plays out.
