At least go for the 5080’s throat, we need more competition.
USAF_DTom
I’m all for a three way race. NVIDIA is becoming a meme with their terrible prices, stock, and drivers. AMD is the clear winner this generation so far, due to the fact that they are actually moving stock and making stock.
We need a new party to either force NVIDIA to come back down, or stay as a premium product as their pricing right now suggests… Although not true.

The more competition, the better for all of us.
Bring it!

what does “high end” mean to intel?
the B580 was a last-gen 60 class competitor that used the same amount of silicon as a 4070.
will this new “high end” gpu be competing with the 5060 and 9060? maybe the 5070/9070 at the highest?
DonutConfident7733
Intel could abandon consumer cpus and start focusing on gpus, they are more profitable and Nvidia leaves a large gap for reasonably priced gpus, Intel could fill that gap…
Granhier
Given how power hungry intel cards are relative to their performance, I’m not sure I can see that happening
psychoacer
I could be too, you don’t really know. Please throw money at me as an investment towards the probable chance I’m telling the truth
Master_of_Ravioli
Honestly, its fine and well to see a high end intel card, however the main problem is the fact that there is basically no fucking cards available and that getting them at msrp is really fucking hard, especially outside the US.
If Intel can fix that for their future releases it would be great, but I kinda start to doubt that will be the case.
Diligent-Depth-4002
intel?

Kougeru-Sama
Please do

EVGA could do the funniest thing….
Jbarney3699
I expect 9070 or 5070 performance tbh.
Cool-Tangelo6548
Make it 10% better and 10% cheaper than Nvidia. That’ll show em.

Anyone else think the game Monopoly is a bit outdated and overrated?

I’m planning on building a new system end if this year. If Intel delivers something by then I’ll buy it
Strawbrawry
love competition and am here for it but they need to catch AMD first
Noshameinhoegame
God I hope so. I love my a770, bit I goofed and got the 8gb version. Been waiting on a high end B series card to upgrade
thuy_chan
Intels new forray into discrete GPUs is still not there yet.
mr_gooses_uncle
I don’t understand AMD and Intel. They want more market share but don’t even make cards that slightly compete. It doesn’t even matter if you’re going to sell many of the top end stuff; the fact there’s no flashy stuff makes you look like a budget brand that’s less performant overall. I hope Intel starts truly competing.
Electric-Mountain
A 5080 competetor would be incredible. That price point needs compitition so bad.
sliphitz
I forgot they were making GPUs again, are they even worth buying yet?
b_m_hart
Could be, but they aren’t.
Dewgong550
Xess is pretty great compared to FSR in my experience on an AMD card. I would like to see what Intel does with a high-end card, especially since they’re really the only ones doing anything with $200-300 range cards that don’t seem bad at all
thankfulofPrometheus
Now’s not the time to be jerking our chain intel, fists up, let’s see it.!!!
HUSK3RGAM3R
Oh please do Intel, would love to see what they can cook up, but I mainly want the competition.
GamesnGunZ
this is why i say intel doesn’t know what the hell they’re doing. their first gpu was actually pretty decent for a lower end rig. if they ever introduced a higher end card to actually try to break up the gpu monopoly, they could actually make some $$$

Has there ever been a better time to challenge Nvidia?
Low supply, high prices, stagnant performance. Nvidia isn’t even trying.
The-One-Zathras
I’m not going back to intel for quite some time, but I do hope they stick it to Nvidia.
Wide-Mycologist6871
I’ve been seeing some of the tech youtubers I follow hinting that they know Intel is cooking something up, I’m excited for more competition.
Skelegro7
Make the low end GPU 12GB VRAM and watch the flames rise.
Frosty_Engineer_3617
Won’t believe it until there’s an actual physical product even right now Intel’s best GPU is only a competition to the 3060 at best still…..
