I hate BIOS updates, just gives me stress

Is BIOS update not as scary as it used to be? Most motherboards now have dual BIOS or BIOS flashback, which allows you to bring the motherboard back from dead if something happens during a BIOS update.

I am kinda new to PCs and I have updated BIOS twice on my Legion 5. And it sounded like a jet engine, but, why is BIOS updates scary and all? Like why the memes. Can someone explain pls.

Nah, i just pull out a glock and say “Dont fuck up”. It usually works and updates without an issue.
