Hey all,
I have an Asus PRIME B650M-A WIFI II motherboard. It has a cpu fan header (and a fan optional header that gets the same speed pwm, right next to it), and three chassis fan headers. the 1st and 3rd chassis fan headers are able to turn off the fans, but the 2nd can't, not even when using FanControl. Does anyone have any idea why that would be? What's the point of having a fan header that can't turn off its fans?
BTW chassis fan 2 and 3 are right next to each other at the bottom edge of the motherboard, and chassis fan 1 is close to the CPU. I currently have my intake fans connected to chassis fan 2.
Just trying to figure out if this has a specific application.
Thanks

Are they all set to PMW mode in the UEFI?
Sounds like that fan is a DC not PWM fan
