    Orion was always just a dev name, so when it became public that it was code for a cyberpunk sequel there’s not much point to keep using it

    In retrospect this is probably to attract talent. Not everyone looking for jobs at CDPR will know what Orion is but they all definitely know Cyberpunk 2 so that’s probably why the name change.
