Those replies are some of the most useless and garbage replies to exist. But people will still upvote them bcoz of the positive way they r written in

Love how ‘I never had this issue’ is a code for ‘your pc is cursed and i will not be helping’

I both hate and love reddit because of this. I’ve found so many solutions to PC issues on reddit, but it’s like, 5% good, 95% slop and a bunch of people trying to be comedians or not knowing what they’re talking about. Lots of confidentially wrong people too

Still better than the Microsoft forums.

“Run diagnostics” -> we’re too lazy to actually troubleshoot it

“Look for viruses” -> it’s not our fault, it’s your fault obviously

“Format your storage disk and reinstall Windows” -> we’re too lazy to troubleshoot it, and we won’t admit it’s some garbage from a forced update, so we’ll just hand wave it away with the software equivalent of a nuclear bomb”

😂 this is Reddit mate what did you expect.

Any part you list somebody will say it’s shit and you should buy something else 😂

When you see how people have built things and they complain about issues and you see a GPU requiring 3 8 pins and one has one plugged in.

Or my CPU is hot and they have a passive LP cooler 😂

tbf im sure a few people are like that but i think alot of it comes from being skeptical of user error, i think majority of people who have taken the time to become moderately skilled enough to troubleshoot know its easier to break alot of things or misdiagnosis an issue and understanding the effort a poster has put in or will put in to fix the issue before going to tech support or replacing, like lets be honest alot of troubleshooting post are equivalent to what we’d expect from our 80+yr old grandma, i could be majorly wrong i just would think majority of people arent spiteful

If they tell you something that is similar specs that works completely fine but yours is all fucked up – well you can definitely tell that your shit is fucked up and not supposed to be like that. you know what I mean?

  10. Noah_the_Helldiver

Like no shit that’s why you didn’t make this post

  11. Pedro80R

    Why buy new parts?

“Format c:” solves all your pc troubles, especially if it’s done from A:>

    /s (just in case…)

Well, if you ask for an arcane error, so unique that even Google can’t find any match, so rare that you can’t file a ticket to the official support of that game, so extrange that your only hope is Reddit, odds are the best that people can provide is their own experience hoping it rings any bell in your head. It’s that or an empty comment section.

  13. iNSANELYSMART

I legit get pissed off when I see comments like that.

„Runs fine on my system“ yeah, no shit with your 4090 and newest cpu on the market lmfao

  14. Randommaggy

As a dev that data is actually really valuable in some cases.
Has saved me hundreds of hours.

  15. Demibolt

If you post “hey guys, I have been experiencing this issue, help?” You will get help. If you post “THIS STUPID GAME IS THE WORST POS I HAVE EVER PLAYER EVER AND IS ALWAYS STUTTERING AND FUCKING MY SISTER!!!” Then people will tell you if they agree or not.

  16. Prophetforhire

I literally just use chatgpt for this. It helped me perfectly rebuild my bootloader yesterday. Crazy how accurately you can ask questions.

  17. DaKid28

To be fair, some people are too dependent on reddit to solve their technical issues. Shit as simple removing the plastic from the cpu cooler or making sure evrything is plugged in is stumping people.

“works fine on my system, quit crying and moaning”
