When I lost access to my Steam account, technical support asked me to provide them with a picture of the jewel case, with the key visible, from my copy of the Collector’s Edition to regain access. You know, like you’ve got here for anyone to see and/or use.
I remember when PC games used to have physical Disc that you need to install in order to play.
