I love the desk and curtains, very cozy! My preference would be to add a deskpad, after trying one over a regular mousepad, I can’t go back. I don’t know what your privacy situation there is, maybe some near field monitors if you aren’t using headphones. SInce you don’t have a lamp, and there doesn’t seem to be a good place to mount an overhead bar, maybe consider one of those LED rings or strings that you put behind the monitor, to help with eye strain at night.
