Liberty Falls directed mode. Get to round 11 and stay on round 11. A mangler will spawn every round. repeat 50 times.
Try going on shattered veil and keep a disciple and all parasites alive and let them all turn into Doppleghast
Citadel has the free Insta Kill just outside spawn and I find the turret can kill Doppelghasts faster than Manglers but otherwise that challenge was so tedious there’s a reason it was the last I did for 100%
I just used the ice staff on the tomb with energy mine turrets and would try to trigger the mimic spawns whenever I got an insta kill
Best advice is to have it as a secondary objective while you progress other things. Play Liberty Falls, have Energy Mine field upgrade on, leave Manglers for last just in case regular zombies give you an insta kill. Use the Full Power and Arsenal Accelerator gums to make sure your mine is ready to use when everything else lines up (Manglers active while insta kill is also active).
Use turret augment since it’ll persist until it runs out of ammo, but make sure to kill as many regular zombies as possible when you activate it because you want the turret to prioritise the mangler.
There’s a free insta kill power up behind the church on Liberty Falls (on the spine of the roof, looking from tier 3 armor wallbuy); Use that when you have 3 or more Manglers active at a time to make the most of it because it can only be used once.
And again, don’t make this your primary focus because it’ll be more frustrating if you do; You’ll be lucky to get more than a few Mangler insta kill mine kills in an entire match… but they’ll add up eventually.
Use Kill Joys and temporal Gift. Spawn manglers on Liberty Fall directed. Use energy mine right after grabbing insta
For this I’m pretty sure I did the high round strat in the Stamin up room in the Tomb. Use the ice staff and pop the energy mine using turret and watch those special zombies get obliterated. With insta kill is basically a free challenge completion. The strat takes a bit of setting up to do as you do need to upgrade the staff
I’m telling you right now, you won’t have an easier time unless you do high round attempt for Tomb.
I did all 50 during my 1st attempt.
Use the augment that gives you two energy mine charges, and the turret.
I didn’t open the door that connects to Staminup and Death Perception. I camped at the top of the stairs with the upgraded ice staff and shot to the lowest point of the stairs. Place the energy mine turrets at the top of the stairs right by you. It’s so good, anytime an instakill spawned, I went and grabbed and if it was near the end of a round, I would go purposely disrupt the mimics that were on the ground as items and take them to my turrets. Get golden armor with mutant injection at round 30.
I’m telling you, this is my favorite method as it’s both high round for XP and challenge done.
That too but honestly just to slow them down so that all those turret shots from the energy mine can hit those special enemies as they’re slowing down. You can place 3 energy mines max
Yep easy. Directed preferably liberty falls. Get mangler to low health pop a kill joy gobble and drop the energy mine in front of him.
As soon as you get an inst-kill and it’s the middle of a round, train up as many zombies as you can, then sprint away from them, drop the mine and pop the heads of the ones the mine didn’t get.
There’s an easy way for this calling card basically you play on directed mode solo on Liberty falls. Before you start the game make sure to equip Kill Joys, Temporal Gift and equip Shattered mine and extra charge on energy mine. Do all the steps for the Easter egg until you can activate the boss fight. Listen carefully to wh I’m about to say because you can screw yourself in the game if you miss this step. Before you go to the boss fight make sure you clear a round which will allow you to save and quit during the boss fight. So before you decide that you go the boss fight make sure when you press pause you can see the save and quit and not locked.
Here’s the trick, when you go to the boss fight there will be always be three manglers at the beginning. When you see them pop a kill joy and kill them together. When you’re done you can save and quit. When you comeback in the game, you’re going to be back in the church and you can activate the boss fight again. You will have to hit the gobblegum machine so to summarize
Clear a round before you go to boss fight so that you can save and exit
If you have kill joy, you can kill three manglers
If you have temporal gift stay at the church until u see an instant kill, If u grab it with temporal and you go to boss fight right away, you’re going to have time to kill only two manglers since the timer will expire when the third one is coming.
Wait until you get 2-3 manglers a round. Use insta gobblegums with the increased time gums. Hit it every single round and make sure to only take those 2. It takes time. Got it amd the 25 gums in 1 game done at the same time.
Or shattered veil. Use the turret augment and wait for the elite to spawn. Don’t kill the bees and they will each spawn a special. Pop insta and energy mine and you’ll get 4-5 each time.
Not that hard to do
I saved manglers until the end of the round, brought them to a safe space in the map, usually liberty falls when I had turrets set up away from where I was training. I’d be close by in case I got a natural insta kill or I’d use a gobblegum before bringing the manglers over. Didn’t take very long.
Listen to me, a friend was doing some experiments on CDM directed, he said, you could transform zombies into doppelghasts indefinitely, what you need to do is shoot a zombie in the chest with a weak gun(kompakt is very good for that)
They should turn into vermins, now shoot the vermin in the legs, it should turn into a parasite, now you have to lure a zombie under the parasite and it will turn it into a doppelghast
You can do it the times you want, what i recommend you is go to directed, reach the round 15 cap and start spawning doppelghasts with this method, leave them all very weak, pop an instakill gum (i think free power up ees are disabled) and use the energy mine
Go for it and tell me how it goes
Get to round 11 on any mode and the basic version of Energy Mine. Once the mangler spawns shoot off his chest armour but avoid the cannon (armour breaking does damage and if the mine breaks the armour then the armour kills the mangler rather than the mine). Use the free insta kill on church and then use Energy Mine on the left side of the mangler (the side without the cannon). Once the mangler is dead, save and quit without finishing the round and youll have the free insta kill and your energy mine back. Every run will take about 10 minutes and give you 2 kills for progress. Its not very fast but it is a solid method (its what i did when i was going for my 100%)
I went on the tomb, start the Easter egg, and just like the opal camo method, start the lockdowns to get the staff pieces. On the last wave you should get 2 or 3 elites, pop an insta gobble gum, use a decoy to draw away the zombies, kill the elites with the mine and exit the area. Re enter and re start when you get another insta
