Got pretty unlucky there, he walked backwards just as you shot and the bullet just skimmed past his face.
I have this issue where, if someone is looting, I can take all my time in the world to wait for them to stand still, but as soon as I pull that trigger no matter what, they will go into the pick up animation and it will fly over their head!
