I’m a pretty good merc. I get the job done, I try to protect the innocent and give everyone in night city a fair shake. But, sometimes, if im being honest – I have these black outs.
Nothing major, just sometimes it’s like I’m walking along, see a group of random thugs. And then next thing you know I’m reaching to queue up 12 different quick hacks (but why would I even do that). And then suddenly im holding a bunch of new tier 4 and 5 guns.
I’m unsure why this keeps happening. And it’s more and more frequent.
But at least crime in Night City is waaaay down. Literally, all crime has plummeted. Except murder of course. That has…. Spiked. A little.
34,298 murders last week.
But this chip in my head. It has a plan. Like, I think it knows how to make this city better. It knows which eggs need to be cracked to make this omelette. You know?
Anyway, I can feel my quick hack finger getting itchy again…

You imagine if canonically V can just see Yellow Arrows above people’s heads, and will just stop mid-conversation to kill some random Gangoon?

Unless I’m drawing agggro, i just walk by. Part of being a good merc is the discipline not to grease gangoons just because they have the potential to become hostile.

It’s a strange coincidence that whenever a car comes towards me with yellow arrows above it, they always seem to inexplicably self destruct. How bizarre

I did all the NCPD, Cyberpsychos, and other gigs before I met Takemura, every yellow arrow in the game attacks me on sight.

Or a blue one. Anyone with an arrow above their head is as good as dead.
