Genuinely the best opening to a video game I’ve ever seen. I’ve never been more immediately hooked into a world and it’s a really fun twist on the turn based genre.

One of the best prologues of any that I have played . Will definitely take my time with it.Not to mention it has the best take in modern combat. Its bit hard getting used to it ,but its very fun and exciting.

I don’t normally like JRPGs and I don’t normally buy games new. But something about it hooked me and a price of AUD70 pushed me over the edge.
I’m 1 hour in and it’s just absolutely phenomenal. The acting and the music is top notch, the premise is intriguing and it is gorgeous (despite some shimmering on the ps5pro I’m sure will get patched. Very interesting combat so far, there’s a lot to learn with the interdependent skills and I’m still learning the party and doge timing.
I would not be surprised if a streaming service picks this up for adaptation.
Hopefully big bonuses coming the developers ways.

Damn, should I pay full price for this. I feel like there hasn’t been this much hype behind a game in a while. Plus, every gameplay video I’ve seen looks promising.
I haven’t played it, but when l have more time l will try it, it seems like a very high quality game.
I picked it up after the reviews came in. Hapoy to support developers who actually make original, quality games. They deserve all the success they get. Gave Blue Prince and Balatro my money too and zero regrets.

Everything about this game screams peak. The voice acting, the story, the freaking soundtrack! And don’t even get me started on the combat. There’s literally no flaws with this game. I wish there was more than 24 hours in a day, so I could play this game for longer.
Game is phenomenal and deserves all the praise it’s getting.

Started playing on Game Pass. Loved it so much, I went and bought a copy.
I’m enjoying this game so far, but I’m not as impressed with it like I’m seeing others are. As awesome as it is that less than 40 people made this game, it certainly does look/feel like it. I like the soundtrack, but the Nier games spoiled me on that front. It’s fine.
Regardless, the gameplay loop and the voice performances are killer. Definitely going to the finish line with this one.
