It’s a random coin flip. You never know who will read your post and what state of mind they’ll be in. E.g. I’ve seen people being very supportive of someone who got an RX 580 recently. Meanwhile, someone trying to do a humble brag about a high end build might trigger a few.
Because some people have a superiority complex, try having an AMD FX CPU, I lost count of how many times I’ve been told it’s a bad performing, hot & power hungry chip and should’ve went with Intel regardless of my small budget.
i hope if i end up getting a 9070 xt it will last me 5 years and make me happy

There’s definitely a lot of rotten apples on reddit, but I actually have come to really appreciate people here. I think we all try to have each other’s backs with community-driven information that doesn’t come from blood-sucking corporations. That includes people checking each other when someone is getting a bad deal, someone is making a bad decision, or a decision for the wrong reasons, all of that.
Most people mean well when they say a 4060 is shite. They’re trying to warn people of Nvidia’s practices and make sure they know what they’re buying.
I think it happens typically when people doesn’t meet the minimum reqs to run something but doesn’t take that into consideration when complaining about its running performance

One time someone posted how they got a FREE large desk on marketplace in reddit. One of the comments said “thats not big you should’ve got a bigger one.” I hope it was a troll but by all evidence it was not.

I’m going to build a budget PC soon with ryzen 5600+B550M DS3H and RTX 4060 with monitor included within 750 $, is this good enough to last for the next 3-4 years ? Don’t care about ultra settings, This is coming from a 1050ti laptop user.
