Speaker placement is more important than monitor ergonomics

My setup is almost done after a year of tinkering, just waiting for the Secret Lab vertical monitor mount to come out to make my second monitor placement more sensible. It is currently pictured shunted off to the right of the desk.

The main challenge of this setup was that everything you see is KM switched between the laptop mount on the left and the main PC mounted below the desk. USB cables are expensive when you are buying 20 at a time…

What desk and monitor arm are you using?

That mousepad is comically large next to that keyboard. Like the set up though

Do the speakers really have to be that high for that type? Bet the “directional” sound on those to your ears is really good.

    Nice Adam T5Vs!

I have a pair of A7Xs myself on stands with padding and I love them

Equally important, at least for main display.
I’ll never give up my equilateral triangle for a display.
I too like having my speakers a bit higher than ear level. I beleive There’s some psycho acoustics at play.

I don’t know if it was detailed in the imgur link, but what speaker stands are you using? I’d like to free up some space on my desk.
