My 8800GT cost me about 33% of the median weekly wage in my country in 2007 and it dogwalked Oblivion. Now you can’t even get a 4060ti for one-third the median wage lmao. Might be time to take up cross-stitch or bird watching, tbh.

I’m personally just refusing to play Unreal Engine 5 games. Unreal Engine 4 is pretty bad too.
It doesn’t matter. There are plenty of great, older games that I haven’t played. Windows 11 may suck with older games but there are tools like Lutris, Proton, Heroic Games Launcher, etc. so I can run them.
One example is that I have never played the old Dragon Age games. Another is that I have never played the Command and Conquer games from when they were still good.
