Maybe someone will have a broken heatsink

It was pulled for a waterblock

So… a cooler? Probably replaced it with a water block.

Wonder if there is a way to test before dropping money on a cooler?

They probably AIO’d the card or put a custom water block on it, so didnt need the FE cooler. I did that for my 1080ti, but kept the box and air cooler.

Some people collect the boxes and/or coolers. I put an empty 2080 in a build once cause my friend loved the look of SLI but did not need it.

Dont know why people get rid of heatsinks and boxes. They need to keep it together with the bundle. So when they sell. The buyers have the option to switch back to air cooled. Just holds value better too.

i would mount my 3060 on that and flex

You mean: they watercooled the fun part and left you with the trash.

(And that was a dumb decision, they should really hold on to that.)

Throw it on eBay, there’s likely someone out there looking to pull off a waterblock.

Finally a worthy cooler for my GT730

I would make stand for it and add power supply for the fan and put it on my desk just for a little bit of the luxury haha, the cooler looks sick.

Wonder if my 3080 FE would fit nicely onto that chonkier heatsink lol

They donated a 3090 cooler (for what little that’s worth). The board *is* the card, the board is why they’re still called “cards” despite being like three inches thicc sometimes.

Several years ago there was a guy who kept trying to sell what he called a 1080 ti on local Facebook marketplace when you could tell from the pic it was just the removed FE cooler. When someone would message him and point it out he would take the listing down and then put it back up shortly after. Must have done it like 5 times.
