Definitely special for me as it was the first map that got me into zombie EE’s. I know it happens to be the first in the BO2 circuit but certainly kicked off my interest in the game mode

Tranzit is my literal favorite map. very rewarding to learn and run. Felt like a god knowing the paths to run without bus and the intricacies of the map like banking and the powered items.
Bro, I just played this map for the first time yesterday. Cool ass map. I didn’t really get to grow up playing cod. I just modded my PS3 to play any game I want and this was the first zombies map I picked by chance.
If youre OG then you hate the map. We called it “Transhit” for a reason back then. Tranzit as a map was a good idea but poorly executed and overly ambitious for the time. The lava just slows you down and the map is too empty for its size (partially due to limitations at the time). If Tranzit was remade with all of its lost features (Bus route B, every individual location being a standalone survival map, less fog/lava etc.) Then it would probably be one of the best maps for MW zombies (which would still be bad when compared to the actually good maps from WaW to BO3).
I was there for this maps launch. It’s complete and utter dog shit.
Played it on release. Always hated it. Town and Farm are sick as survival maps though

I remember buying bo2 the day it came out and grinding this shit. Trying to figure all the build-ables. And the good ole glitch in the tunnel 🤣
Calling it one of the greatest maps is a mega stretch but I did enjoy this map. I couldn’t play it nowadays though. You need to do everything perfectly in order to get by.
If you don’t hate this map you are not an OG. This map was fucking reviled for years since it’s launch for a reason, get your head out of the clouds.
Better yet, get it out of the fog, those Denizens keep fucking you up.
As a OG I remember when tranzshit came out, it was a mess after being used to Kino it’s way better than any vanguard map but it’s not deserving of love I’ll give it a pat on the back for sure.
Only CoD I ever pre-ordered was bo2 but I still think Tranzit was Zielinski’s worst map
