They have way way WAY too much money to fail, they’re gonna QC the hell out of every aspect that a video game can be inspected by.
Whether that means their “video game” then transcends to a new height that was unexpected/undesired (like a hyperfocus on realism as opposed to gameplay and fun) is a much different story.. but in no other way can I imagine this game being “mid”

After GTAV, yeah I honestly think it will be.
Sure, lots of shiny graphical upgrades and new detail features that don’t influence gameplay directly, but the story was quite weak in the last game and didn’t have much as far as memorable moments go.
Plus with all the hype building over the years it’s gonna be hard for some folks to justify waiting so long. GTAO 2 will be a huge money maker though, even if the initial launch goes badly. People love that stuff

Man, I hope they take some notes from RDR2, like it’s lack of hammer space. Having an entire armory in my pockets always feels lame, I loved rdr2 for what it did. That and more meaningful upgrades would be nice. In V weapons were just hard upgrades of each other which is just lame, sure you’ll have some of that, but more depth in the gunplay would be great and I’m sure car nerds would like shops to give more in depth changes.

People are already acting like it will be the second coming of Jesus. It’ll be a fine game that we’ve all seen at least 5 times before.
Everyone should know exactly what to expect, just with prettier graphics and some fancy gimmick like the character switch in 5.
Nothing groundbreaking, just nice and safe. They certainly know it.
Wish they’d tighten up their development cycle and stop nickel and diming their entire fanbase that’ll just be renewed with all the people complaining about online funneling them more money this time, once again.

GTA V was good. RDR1 & 2 were masterpieces. I expect GTA VI to be good. Nothing spectacular. Production value, graphics, and presentation will be 11/10, but I expect the core of the game to be pretty average.

I know it’s not even announced when it’s released but I hope if the story is anywhere as good as gta v that it gets proper DLC, I was sickened when they said they wouldn’t do it for gta v cause the ideas they had sounded amazing finding out more of the characters backstory cause that game had some of the best characters in series!

V was dogshit, VI is def not going to be anything special other than nice to look at. the gameplay looks same old same old and missions will be the same as the previous games. going to be alot of disappointment when it finally drops.
