With the newest update today use boost high pitch and strong. It makes every other sound worse especially parachuting but you can hear footsteps 5x better. The game sounds awful imo.

The tuned audio conversation was nuts with people saying it was cheating. Hopefully it dies down now.
Those arguments completely misunderstood how PCs output sound lol. You need hardware and software to output sound, sure you can use default windows software and default motherboard chips (which vary by manufacturer anyway) but many people don’t for many different reasons. Is windows scripts like loudness EQ third-party software? Is a firefly DAC third party hardware like a Cronus? What about a separate sound card hooked up to the motherboard? Obviously not.
What are you all using for audio?? I’ve had no issues since Verdansk re-released, in fact footsteps are now so loud I can hear them in the next building over.

You must have a messed up system, because audio has been actually decent ever since Verdansk dropped.
Maybe you had some settings to help with the bad audio before and is now ironically causing you to have bad audio now?

I tried it , I have a fiio k11 r2r and turning the volume down on the amp and having weak adjustment on the audio from ps5 it sounds so grainy and just raises the volume up , to me it’s just a higher gain and I ended up using all 4 in Warzone and mp and like people have been mentioning on the post the new verdansk audio is better
what if… they fixed the game audio instead?
I expect no more complaints from console players about how PC audio has an advantage or whatever copium they use when they can’t fry someone else with their AA. NONE. Any complaints about PC audio, I forward them this.
Definitely amps footsteps, but everything else sounds kinda shitty. Not sure if I like it yet
