Both Expansions and original DLC (Horse Armor, etc) are included in the base game.
The Deluxe Edition ($10 USD) has NEW Armor, Weapons, and Horse Armor.

I like that you can buy the upgrade separately. So buy the base game and buy the upgrade later if you want that content. There is no pressure to buy the deluxe edition outright if you are using Steam.

  2. CavalierIndolence

Left side: Game with everything made for original Oblivion

Right side: Digital deluxe, all the stuff listed in that one box labeled that, including new horse armor and stuff

People are over thinking things and being dumb about this.

    Edit: I suck at formatting

  3. C1138BP

I’m literally seeing brand new accounts pop up to spread misinformation that’s it’s not a “full product”. It’s nuts

  4. Merciless972

Deaderic horse armor. Time to explore with my daedric unicorn.

  5. tyrsbjorn

Was that actual game play in the trailer? Cause that looked really good to me.

  6. Scheibenpflaster

horse armor not being paid dlc was a missed opportunity tbh

  7. Gen3ralEZKILL

Clearly the people who didn’t watch the reveal. He clearly states in the reveal, it’s all included in the base game. No need to read something and get misinformation.

  8. wholesome_bastard

I find it hilarious that they still found a way to sell horse armor dlc.

  9. Cloud_N0ne

People are acting so mad that there’s horse armor DLC.

No, it’s a new armor and weapons pack DLC that also includes horse armor, but that’s only a small part of it.

The original horse armor DLC is included for free.

Horse Armor: “You couldn’t live with your other DLC’s failure, and where did that lead you? Back to me.”

  11. sonicadam132

When I first saw this, I believed the old dlc wasn’t included. However, I checked the store page for both versions and learnt it is included in the base game, which is also the version included on gamepass

  12. Ekillaa22

So theirs a quest to actually get the deluxe version stuff? I gotta say I slightly like that better than just it being auto added into your inventory or having to get it from a special chest

  13. Asher_Tye

Never got to play this game. Started in Skyrim.

  14. Refactoid

I know it’s rough out there, but damn, people out here whining about $10? The game is only 50, so even with the dlc addon, it only brings it to a typical AAA release game price. All this time searching for drama could be instead spent on actually playing the game or maybe getting outside to touch the fresh spring grass…

  15. Negative-Analyst4509

I assume the armor and weapons shown are the ones that belong to the mentioned quests in the post? Don’t look that bad, and I’m glad that it’s not just like a “hey you finished the tutorial, here’s all the DLC gear that makes you op for the early game”

  16. Real talk, it’s very pleasantly surprising how reasonably priced this all is. Standard edition with all the DLC from the original game is *just* 50$, while the one on the right is only 60$. In this day and age with games that are often in the 70$ 80$ range by default and extra editions that get to 100$, it’s almost weird when a game this high profile doesn’t follow that trend in the slightest.

  17. Agarillobob

it says on steampage like this, deluxe is only skins and stuff

  18. dillybar1992

Well crap. I feel dumb now. I legit thought the DLCs were only in the deluxe. I guess that’s kinda on me.

  19. Rare_Concern6405

I was positive this was releasing at 70$ just because fuck us right but 50 and 60(for us non gamepass people)? OK they fooled me.

  20. dropdan

Thanks for sharing this, I was sure that the DLC was Deluxe only. Seriously why the hell did they format the banner like that, with the legacy DLC info in a separate square?
Again, thank you for the info. Have a nice day…

  21. Gen3ralEZKILL

Let’s complain about the switch 2 edition of BOTW and it not including dlc and costing $70. But let’s also complain about Remastered Oblivion that does include all dlc, multiplatform, is more of a remake than remaster, and only costs $49 (free with gamepass) simply because they muffed up the messaging with the digital deluxe edition. You know because 🤓

  22. CH4OT1CN1C3

The deluxe edition includes everything on the right. Base game includes the dlc

  23. Exciting_Damage_2001

Horse armor, the beginning of the end for us boys.

  24. Shiro_ZVT

go on steam and click the compare editions button there is a nice chart that shows it all more clearly. id add a image myself but i can’t

  25. JustNuggz

That is a poor design choice in the marketing then. This really makes it look like it could be seperate

  26. neroselene

So the most important question about Oblivions remaster: Do we actually have Beards?

  27. sirZofSwagger

So no horse armor? Are they just supposed to be naked?

  28. Western-Oil9373

Having the base game and the expansions be in a box would help get the idea across. The image is unfortunately quite confusing.

  29. CAPIreland

The madlads. They did it. They made another horse armour DLC.

  30. dynamitesun

Bad actors? I’d like you to know I got rave reviews for my portrayal of Iago in High School Play of Othello
