Honestly, “gaming” needed some good news after the recent bombardment of raised game prices, tariffs and companies trying to squeeze every last penny from you.
We had games media and an entire horde of online schlong suckers trying to persuade people that Nintendo were in fact justified in charging the prices they are and “how lucky we’ve been”.
Then here comes Bethesda and fucking Microsoft of all companies making a mockery of that & dropping a near ground up remaster of a cult classic, retains its original charm, add a ton of QoL features, shadow drop it and charge $50. I’m not even a Bethesda fanboy but bloody hell it’s a stark contrast to what other publishers are doing.

The only thing for me is that the saturation seems turned way down. They seem to be allergic to the color green, everything is brown. Every time they’d do a reveal, I’d cringe at how less vibrant everything looked. The way the world looks in the painting world is how I’d prefer it to look all the time.
