I mean, no one is casually purchasing a remaster of a 2006 game when it’s been shadow dropped and is not immediately playing it. I’d expect nothing less. Next month, the number will begin to drop.

I’m part of the 1.7 percent of players that have closed an oblivion gate, so I have that going for me.

How does that mean everyone is playing Oblivion? It’s a percentage, not a number – it just means everyone has that achievement. But that “everyone” could be one, a hundred, or a million players.
And in fact it’s more likely to mean a small number, because if a million people had played it, chances are at least some of them wouldn’t have made it out of the sewers yet.
Although since it’s obviously a popular game right now it’s probably more indicative of a delay in player and achievement tracking.
